A cold and frosty morning

Me: Why is Dave’s bed on the sofa?

Nell: David is enjoying the view. He can see more from up there.

Me: Darling Big Brave Beautiful Boy. I just want to cuddle him.

Nell: I know.

Me: It’s such a beautiful frosty morning and so lovely to see the sun. I don’t mind how cold it is if the sun is shining.

Nell: You would if you were out there. Fortunately the llamas have ski suits and boots.

Me: I like their hats. Very colourful.

Nell: Knitwear Wolf made sure they had one each. You need to keep your ears warm in this weather.

Me: I know. I’m very thankful for my all encasing hat.

Nell: We all are.

Me: I’m actually rather surprised that Gladys is still Gliding outside.

Nell: Needs must. We are in lockdown. All the gyms are closed.

Me: Gladys never uses a gym. None of you do.

Nell: I beg your pardon? For all you know I might have been going to Zumba classes for years.

Me: Seriously?

Nell: Of course not. Do I look like a Zumba fanatic?

Me: Not really.

Nell: Pilates is more my thing. I leave Zumba to The Cat.

Me: The Cat does Zumba?

Nell: Oh yes. It loves it. It says it reminds it of the Carnival in Rio.

Me: I’m not even going to go there.

Nell: Probably wise.

Me: Has Dorothy recovered from yesterday’s incident?

Nell: Yes. Pamela explained the misunderstanding and Squawk has been reported to Book a Beefy.

Me: Have they responded yet?

Nell: Yes. They’re looking into it and they offered Pamela a free delivery.

Me: Good.

Nell: I told Pamela to ask for Terry.

Me: Yes. Terry hasn’t put a claw wrong. See what I did there?

Nell: Do stop.

Me: Yes. Sorry.
